Office Administrator
📢 We’re Hiring: Office Administrator with Health & Safety Experience
- Location: 61 Jacoba Rd, Alberton, Johannesburg
- Type: Full-Time
- Start Date: Immediate
S.A.M.E. Dredging is looking for a dynamic and highly organized Office Administrator to join our team. This role requires a proactive individual who is not only skilled in general office administration but also brings a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Health & Safety. The ideal candidate will have reasonable working knowledge of both the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA).
You will support our General Manager and the Head of Business Development & Systems with daily administrative tasks, vendor applications, and general coordination duties across departments.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- General office administration and document management
- Support Health & Safety compliance and documentation (OHSA and MHSA)
- Assist with vendor registrations and applications
- Provide administrative support to the GM and the Head of Business Development & Systems
- Coordinate travel, logistics, and schedules
- Handle data entry, reporting, and document filing using Microsoft 365
✅ Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Health & Safety administration
- Reasonable working knowledge of OHSA and MHSA
- Proven office administration experience
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel when required
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator
- Ability to work independently and support a multi-disciplinary team
